You might be the parent of a World Racer during a pandemic if…
- You have no idea what the Covid protocols are from day to day.
- You still wonder what country your Racer will be going to.
- Or how long they will be staying.
- Or if they will have to come home at any point.
- Or if they will be able to do ministry.
- Or if they will get sick.
- Or if they will be able to quarantine if needed.
- Or if… Or if…. Or if…
- You basically do a LOT of wondering.
- But you also trust God.
- You trust he has a plan during this pandemic.
- You trust your Racer is following that plan.
- Even when you can’t see the outcome.
- Even when you don’t know all the details.
- You grow in your faith.
- You pray a LOT.
- You follow Instagram posts and read WR blogs.
- You glean every bit of information you can.
- You are amazed at the changes in your Racer.
- You follow every word about pandemic travel.
- You are disappointed at all the cancellations and changes that happen because of Covid.
- You trust God knows the details and the whys.
- You cry out to him in sorrow on days when you miss your Racer.
- You cry out to him in joy when you get a phone call, text, or photo.
- You cry out to him. At all times.
- In ways you didn’t before.
- You see your own transformation in trusting without seeing or knowing.
- It is freeing.
- You are tired of the word unprecedented.
- But now you use it to describe your faith.
Hang in there, Parents! You are doing great!
